Participating in the Isle of Man Enthusiasts Weekend the Groudle Glen Railway operated on both Saturday the 19th of July and Sunday the 20th of July.
On Saturday diesel locomotive 'Walrus' and battery electric 'Polar Bear' pulled the replica coaches. While it was bright day, a strong breeze howled around the headland. It was a quiet day, possibly caused by Isle of Man transport leaflet advertising the Enthusiasts Weekend omitting to state that the railway was operating on the Saturday.
On Sunday both steam engines 'Sea Lion' and 'Annie' operated for the day. A much sunnier day resulted in a pleasant afternoon for visitors relaxing at Sea Lion Rocks Cafe as both the Karina and the Viking passed by.
